When you enter Schlecks, you are immediately greeted by the lively and inviting atmosphere. The store is really colorful – bright tones and creative decorations shine everywhere. It feels like stepping into an ice cream dream. The interior is super cute, with lovingly designed details that put you in a good mood at every turn.
If you prefer to be outside, there are also a few outdoor tables where you can enjoy your ice cream. The store is in a quiet corner, so you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of Altona. Schlecks is the perfect place to enjoy a sunny day and treat yourself to a delicious break.
The Concept of Cold Stone Ice Cream
If you don’t know Cold Stone ice cream yet, it’s high time you did! Here’s how it works at Schlecks: Your waffle cup is coated with white, milk or dark chocolate. Then you choose 1-2 types of ice cream, which are scooped onto a cold stone plate. Then you choose your ingredients – and there really is everything your heart desires: from Giotto, salted pretzels, Kinder Country, Kinder Bueno, chocolate lentils, various sprinkles to fresh fruit such as strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. And that wasn’t everything.
Your selection is then crushed and mixed together with the ice cream on the cold plate. Finally, add a sauce of your choice and a little crunch on top – and voilà, your individual work of ice cream art is ready!

Taste Experience and our Conclusion
We feasted our way through the Schlecks range and were delighted. Here is a little insight into our creations:
- Chocolate & vanilla: waffle with dark chocolate and brittle, filled with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, Giotto and Kinder chocolate, fresh strawberries and dark chocolate on top
- Yogurt and strawberry: waffle with milk chocolate and brittle, filled with yogurt and strawberry ice cream, fresh strawberries, white chocolate chips and cheesecake, topped with strawberry sauce
- Coffee shake: vanilla ice cream, espresso, cream and mocha sauce
Everything was super tasty and surprisingly lighter than expected – despite the rich ingredients. We were particularly impressed by the combination of different textures and flavors. Schlecks not only offers something for all those with a sweet tooth, but also a relaxed and cozy atmosphere.
Our verdict: A big recommendation for all ice cream lovers and definitely not our last visit to Schlecks. Be sure to visit for yourself and create a delicious work of ice cream art exactly for your liking!
