Yakido Hamburg is not your typical all-you-can-eat restaurant – here, food isn’t just served, it’s grilled. Right at your table. The spacious restaurant is laid out like a small town, crisscrossed by conveyor belts that bring various dishes to the tables along narrow “streets.”
On the plates: finely sliced meats, fresh vegetables, small desserts. Above, a small train whizzes by, bringing the hot dishes that you ordered beforehand via QR code. Yes, it sounds a bit like a sushi train, but for Korean BBQ – and the whole thing is just great fun.
The tables are pleasantly screened off, you sit in small niches and feel almost like you’re in your own private area. Despite the size of the restaurant, it remains surprisingly cozy. The restaurant also has a great ventilation system, which means there’s hardly any BBQ smell. Whether you’re out with friends or as a couple, it feels pleasantly intimate – and at the same time, there’s always something going on.

Particularly appealing: if you are interested in warm appetizers or specials, simply scan the QR code at your table. The selection includes crispy tempura shrimp, dumplings, and other small highlights — at no extra charge. High-quality Wagyu beef is also available (however, at an additional cost). Orders are placed directly from your cell phone, and a short time later, a small train rolls up with your treats — together with an announcement. It doesn’t get much cuter than that.
How Much Does it Cost?
For €39.90, you get a lot here: the sauce and salad bar, the conveyor belt with grill ingredients, various desserts, and warm QR snacks — all included. Children under 12 years pay €19.90, and children under 7 years pay only €10.90. You can’t complain about that.
The quality of the ingredients is consistently impressive — nothing seems careless or industrial, everything looks freshly prepared. The meat in particular is finely cut and ideal for the small table grill. And if you’re ever unsure about what’s coming down the conveyor belt, just ask the staff — they’re very helpful.
