Taste Test
The soufflés are incredibly light and almost melt in the mouth – no comparison to heavy desserts. The Egg & Bacon soufflé adds a nice savory note, but is still quite sweet overall. An unusual but thoroughly successful combination that surprised us.
Nutella & Caramelized Banana, on the other hand, is a real classic – intensely chocolaty and sweet with a topping of caramelized bananas. Not restrained, but really decadent. The Berries Soufflé adds a touch of freshness, the interplay of sweet base and slightly sour berries is a nice balance – but here, too, the basic sweetness remains noticeable.
The croissant and croffle were airy and crispy and a successful alternative to the soufflés.
When it came to the drinks, the Lime Lemonade scored particularly well – wonderfully refreshing and not too sweet. The Matcha Latte and the Iced Matcha Strawberry Latte, on the other hand, didn’t quite convince us: the taste was somehow inconsistent and both were again very sweet.
For our personal taste, there could have been a little less sugar in places, but we know that this is exactly what fans of The Soufflé love. Particularly exciting: there are regularly changing specials that keep the menu varied and make you curious about your next visit.
Bottom Line
The Soufflé delivers exactly what it promises: freshly prepared, airy desserts in a super nice atmosphere. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who likes heavenly, fluffy soufflés, appreciates beautiful interiors and likes to be surprised by new, seasonal creations. There is still room for improvement when it comes to the drinks – but the soufflés themselves are definitely worth a visit.
