Inside: dark wood, cozy leather armchairs, maritime accents. Outside: a terrace that is second to none. Under a green canopy of leaves, you sit as if in a box seat above the harbor, while barges, tourists and container giants vie for your attention below. The service? Super friendly and fast.

From Burrata to Truffles – a Menu with Character
We started with the burrata – delicately plucked, combined with fresh watermelon, juicy cherry tomatoes and a hint of basil. A combination that looks unusual on paper, but turns out to be a real hit on the tongue. Light, summery, really well balanced.
The truffle pasta then surprised us again. Instead of the usual heavy cream sauce, it was pleasantly oily – which may be a little too oily for some, but we were totally convinced. The truffle was finely dosed and the small, sweet tomatoes in it were almost a show-stealer. And the poached egg on top rounded off the whole thing perfectly.
The second main course was classic: the cod filet was so tender that it almost fell apart by itself – cooked to perfection, with creamy mashed potatoes and soft spinach as a side kick. The chive and white wine sauce was also a great accompaniment.

Drinks & Dessert – the Perfect Finish
Of course, we couldn’t miss out on a few drinks – the Moscow Mule with plenty of freshness and the classic Aperol Spritz, just the way you want it. Both perfectly balanced. And to top it all off, the Port strawberry tiramisu. No comparison with the typical classic – here it was fresh, fruity and wonderfully light. Ideal for warm evenings!
Conclusion: Tourist Spot? Yes. Recommendation? Oh Yes!
Sure, the Landungsbrücken are touristy. And yes, the prices are high. But we say: it’s still worth it! If you want a table outside, you should definitely make a reservation – spontaneous seats are rare. For all those who want to experience Hamburg at its best – with good food, first-class service and that unbeatable harbor view – Restaurant Port is exactly the right address.
