In Short
We visited 1407 Breakfast Club in Osterstraße – inconspicuous from the outside, but really cool inside. Ideal for anyone who wants a relaxed breakfast – it’s best to book in advance, as space is limited and the selection is large.
Ambience & Atmosphere
From the outside, the café looks rather reserved, but inside the 1407 Breakfast Club surprises with a spacious, modern design over two floors – including a terrace and outdoor areas. Everything looks stylish and bright, with plenty of seating niches, sofas and power sockets for working. The focus here is on hospitality – families, dogs and children are also welcome.

Our Selection of Food & Drinks
- Egg Drop Sandwich (with brioche, scrambled eggs, avocado, tomato, cheddar & homemade chili mayo) – €13.50
- Bread Milan (Sylt sourdough bread, burrata, tomato, pesto, truffle oil, balsamic vinegar & salad) – €14.50
- Iced Matcha Latte – €6.50
- Caffè Latte – €5
Taste & Impression
The Milan bread was an absolute highlight: creamy burrata, aromatic pesto and fine tomato notes on rustic sourdough – very intense and well-balanced. Accompanied by a crisp salad and fresh fruit all around – 10/10, everything just fits together!
The Iced Matcha Latte also impressed us. Velvety cold, with natural sweetness and a rich matcha note – just the way you want it: refreshing, tasty, earthy, without artificiality.
The egg drop sandwich was a little different: the ingredients were delicious, the homemade chili mayo had a good flavor, but the soft brioche unfortunately dominated a little too much. Sweet bread and lots of volume overshadowed the fine interplay of egg, avocado and cheddar. Still delicious – just not completely convincing.

Definitely Worth a Visit
1407 Breakfast Club delivers exactly what we want: stylish ambience, lovely details, a fine selection of great breakfast dishes and drink specialties – perfect for brunch until the early evening (open until 6 pm). Especially great: the Milan bread and the iced matcha latte. The egg drop sandwich is solid, but can’t quite keep up. We recommend: Be sure to make a reservation, especially if you want to sit inside or outside – the café is quite winding inside, but very pretty.
