In Short
Just a stone’s throw away from Mönckebergstraße, you will find a place that seems very inconspicuous at first glance, but hides true wonders inside: the Museum of Illusions. A visit here is like a short trip into a magical world full of puzzles, reflections and optical illusions.
The Perfect Photo Motif: Illusions as a Souvenir
There are countless photo points in the Museum of Illusions that will give you spectacular memories. Whether you’re standing in a room that’s suddenly upside down or lost in an endless loop of mirrors, you’re guaranteed to take extraordinary pictures that you won’t soon forget. Especially cool: At many stations, you can interact with the illusions, turn them, pull them and become part of the artwork.
There are many good restaurants near the museum. Take a look at Picasso or Tschebull!
Fun for the Whole Family
The museum is a real highlight, especially for children. There are exciting riddles and puzzles everywhere that encourage children to join in and think. The small rooms with mirrored walls, rotating surfaces and other optical illusions are not only fascinating to look at, but also a great way to learn through play.
Small but Great!
The Museum of Illusions may not be very big, but it is pretty impressive. We spent about an hour there, but we could easily have spent even longer due to the many interactive elements. There is so much to discover and try out that it never gets boring.
