If you’re looking for a café that will not only blow you away in terms of taste, but also visually, then Café noé in Hamburg is just the place for you. The dishes are really delicious and everything in this café is worth taking a photo of!
First Impression
As soon as you enter Café noé, you are struck by its simple yet sophisticated elegance. The huge window front of the glass café lets in a lot of light and creates a great atmosphere. This is where minimalist design meets coziness. Although the café is small and the tables are relatively close together, this only adds to the friendly atmosphere.
The highlight for us: the round table in the corner. Not only does it offer privacy, it is also the only table at a normal height – perfect for a relaxed experience.
One Small Drawback
One thing we noticed: although the chairs are super comfortable and stylish, the knee-high tables make eating a little difficult. You have to bend down, which can be uncomfortable in the long run. So, our tip: grab the round, somewhat hidden table in the back!

Culinary Work of Art
Now for the most important part: the food! And folks, Café noé really went all out here.
Drinks:
- Eden (6.40 €): A heavenly combination of milk, white chocolate, coconut water and matcha
- Dawn Til Dusk (6 €): Earl Grey with mango, passion fruit, vanilla and prickly pear
- Taro Latte (5 €): Simply something different and totally delicious
Food:
- New York Croffle (12.50 €): A creation that will blow you away! Poached eggs, bacon, wild herbs and hollandaise
- Banana Biscoff French Toast (12.90 €): Not your average French toast. The combination of chocolate ganache, Biscoff cream, caramelized bananas, sea salt, caramel and fruit is a real treat
The food is not only a feast for the stomach, but also for the eyes. Each dish is a small work of art, decorated with fresh fruit, edible flowers and delicious sauces. And the best thing is: you can even buy the aesthetic glasses you drink from!
The New York Croffle, inspired by South Korean waffles and made with croissant dough, we can only highly recommend. Firm, fluffy and crispy at the same time, it forms a perfect harmony in the savory version with poached eggs, bacon and hollandaise. The Croffle is available in many different variations – sweet and savory.
The Banana Biscoff French Toast is another star on the menu. This is no ordinary French toast. With the perfect amount of sea salt and the delicious chocolate flavor, it really won us over. The fresh fruit in particular rounds off the dish.
Our Verdict
Café noé in Hamburg is more than just a café. It’s a place where every detail counts – from the ambience to the taste. Although some of the drinks were a little too intense for my taste, the overall experience is just great. My personal favorite was the Banana Biscoff French Toast – a real highlight. So, dear Hamburgers and visitors to Hamburg, don’t miss out on this café!
