Perfectly frothed, creamy and with just the right balance between sweet and tart. There is even a choice of different matcha varieties. If you like, treat yourself to a grilled cheese sandwich, super tasty.

Trader HiFi: Chill Vibes

Trader HiFi in Altona is also well worth a stop for matcha. The spot is relaxed, understated and has that effortlessly cool Altona vibe. The matcha was really delicious, pleasantly earthy, high quality and beautifully prepared. What we especially liked: no one gives you a funny look if you order it the traditional way with just water. Just how we like it!

1407 Breakfast Club: Brunch & Matcha Vibes in Eimsbüttel

At 1407 Breakfast Club, it’s not just about stylish brunch plates, it’s especially about good matcha. They use high-quality matcha powder, prepare it with precision, and serve both classic and creative variations that truly stand out. You can tell that the barista competes in championships: technique, quality, and passion are at the heart of every cup.

Brühwerk: Matcha & Coffee in the City

Brühwerk is a great spot for anyone who enjoys matcha just as much as coffee. The matcha is carefully prepared and has a nicely balanced taste. If you want to make it at home, you can also buy the powder directly on site. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a nice place to take a break from the city or get some work done.
