Atmosphere and Ambience: Sunny Coziness
Pancake Panda is located at Müggenkampstraße 34, in the middle of Eimsbüttel. The area is known for its charming cafés, and Pancake Panda fits in perfectly. Even from the outside, the store looks inviting, and as soon as you enter, you are greeted by a bright, friendly atmosphere. The interior is modern but cozy – nothing over the top, but a pleasant café feeling.
A real plus: the sun shines wonderfully through the large windows, bathing the whole room in a warm light. If you want to sit outside, you’re in luck – there’s a small outdoor area where you can enjoy breakfast in the fresh air. Perfect for sunny days! The service was okay overall – the food came quickly and everything ran smoothly, but a little more friendliness wouldn’t have hurt

You really can find everything your breakfast heart desires here – from pancakes with every imaginable sauce to hearty egg dishes and brioche creations. We tried our way through a small but mighty selection of dishes:

- Strawberry cheesecake French toast (Brioche with strawberry sauce, white chocolate, cream cheese mascarpone & crumble) €11.40
- Bueno Pancakes (Bueno bar, white nougat sauce, chocolate sauce, white chocolate drops) €15.80

Taste Experience: Exaggeratedly Good or Simply Exaggerated?
Eggs Benedict – Sauce Without End
The Eggs Benedict were by far the savory highlight of our visit. Instead of classic English muffins, they were served on a fluffy brioche, which gave the dish a slight sweetness. The organic fried eggs were perfectly cooked and the egg yolks were nice and runny, blending in with the creamy hollandaise sauce. Speaking of which: there was no shortage of sauce here! If you like it juicy, you’ll be happy here.
It was served with organic beef bacon and organic poultry bacon, which added a spicy note. The fresh salad was a nice attempt to balance things out a little – but to be honest, we were already on a “sinful breakfast” kick anyway.

Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast – a Dessert for Breakfast
If you love strawberries and cheesecake, you won’t be disappointed here. The French toast came with a thick layer of strawberry sauce, white chocolate, cream cheese mascarpone cream and crumble – a wild mixture of sweet, fruity and creamy. The taste was delicious, but quite sweet.
Bueno Pancakes – Pure Chocolate
The Bueno pancakes were not for the faint-hearted. White nougat sauce, dark chocolate sauce, Bueno bars and white chocolate drops – you can’t get much more chocolate than that.
The pancakes themselves were fluffy, but they hardly stood a chance against the flood of sauces and chocolate. Anyone who loves chocolate will probably be on cloud nine here.
Conclusion: Very Delicious!
Pancake Panda is without question the perfect place for anyone who wants to treat themselves. There’s no holding back here: our savory dish was super juicy, the sweet plates were loaded to the max with sauce, chocolate and toppings.
But it’s not for everyone. If you like subtle, subtle flavors, you might find the food here a little too artificial. If you fancy a breakfast that feels like a cheat day, then this is the place for you. So: bring an appetite, love sweet and savory combos and preferably come with a group to share everything.
