In Short
With an incomparable view of the harbor and a cuisine full of sophistication, Tim’s Restaurant is a real insider tip for gourmets. Located directly on the harbor, this stylish restaurant delights with its fantastic view, excellent cuisine and service that leaves nothing to be desired. Our New Year’s Eve there was a complete success – with fine food, fireworks and a great party!
Atmosphere und Ambience
Tim’s Restaurant impresses as soon as you enter: a nice interior with a modern interpretation of maritime flair. Large windows offer a picturesque view of the harbor and the passing boats. On New Year’s Eve, this view became a highlight when the fireworks lit up the night sky. But it wasn’t just the visuals that were impressive – the atmosphere was very relaxed. Tim himself served and added a personal touch. Later, when the tables were cleared away, part of the restaurant was transformed into a dance floor where people could dance the night away and celebrate the New Year!

The New Year’s Eve Menu
Classic Menu:
- Amuse Bouche
- Terrine of beef and roasted leek (Aperol Spritz | Arare pearls | Savory dashi)
- 65 degree organic egg (celery | truffle | Comté foam)
- Poached cod (bouillabaisse essence | radish | fennel)
- Saddle of venison – roasted pink (cranberries | potato tree cake | king oyster mushroom)
- Original Beans chocolate tart (meringue | blood orange | espresso)
Vegetarian Menu:
- Amuse Bouche
- Terrine of roasted leek and salted butter (Aperol Spritz | Arare pearls | Savory dashi)
- 65 degree organic egg (celery | truffle | Comté foam)
- Kohlrabi Wan Tan (herb broth | radish | fennel)
- Lacquered rutabaga (cranberries | potato tree cake | king oyster mushroom)
- Original Beans chocolate tart (meringue | blood orange | espresso)
A Special Menu
Both menus were simply great. The terrine of beef with a kind of Aperol spritz jelly provided an exciting contrast of spicy and fresh. The 65 degree egg was a dream for truffle lovers – creamy, aromatic and finished with Comté foam. Also, the poached cod was tender as butter, while the bouillabaisse essence provided a pleasant, light acidity. A highlight was the saddle of venison, roasted perfectly pink and accompanied by the innovative potato tree cake.
The vegetarian counterpart was in no way inferior to the meat menu. The lacquered rutabaga shone with depth and a perfectly balanced interplay of sweetness and acidity. The crowning glory was the chocolate tart – a combination of intense chocolate, fruity blood orange and a few cookies of espresso cream. Really great!
