Frau Dr. Schneider’s Grilled Cheese Wonderland awaits you in the heart of Hamburg – a little paradise for all cheese connoisseurs. The super friendly owner creates a manageable but tasty menu with dedication and care, which impresses with its quality and sophistication alone. The concept focuses on three different grilled cheese varieties and changing special sandwiches, with a focus on regional and high-quality ingredients.

Carefully put Together: Quality Comes First

The selection of ingredients, from the cheese to the bread, underlines the attention to detail and is reflected in the taste of every bite. Frau Dr. Schneider’s Grilled Cheese Sandwiches are prepared with care and passion, which can definitely be tasted in every dish. The owner also makes a very conscious choice of ingredients. Only certain types of cheese are used, and the bread is freshly baked specifically for her.

We opted for classics from the small but fine selection:

Inviting Atmosphere and Loving Design

The ambience in the store is special: The two rooms, colored in pink and yellow, immediately put you in a good mood. In the room where the sandwiches are prepared, it can smell a little intense, but in the other room you can sit back comfortably and enjoy your delicious food.

Melted Cheese, Crispy Bread and Creative Combinations

The grilled cheese sandwiches impress with completely melted, hot cheese and a dollop of butter. This combination makes the breads extra juicy and crispy. The classic sandwich with Swiss Magoth cheese, farmer’s cheese from Schleswig-Holstein and mozzarella is particularly hearty and a real treat.
You may not be able to taste the macaroni in the Mac ‘n’ Cheese Sandwich straight away. However, the pasta gives the dish a special texture and clearly distinguishes it from the classic sandwich. We also really enjoyed this!
